Hello,
in our company we are planning to install Checkpoint Harmony Endpoint on our FreePBX server.
The requrement for installation is Linux Ubuntu (16.04, 18.04, 20.04), Debian (9.12-10.10), RHEL (7.8-8.3), CentOS (7.8-8.3), Oracle (7.8-8.3), Amazon (2).
Our FreePBX server is
cat /proc/version
Linux version 3.10.0-1127.19.1.el7.x86_64 (mockbuild@kbuilder.bsys.centos.org) (gcc version 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-39) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Tue Aug 25 17:23:54 UTC 2020
uname -a
Linux XXXXX_FreePBX 3.10.0-1127.19.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 25 17:23:54 UTC 2 020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
cat /etc/os-release
NAME=“Sangoma Linux”
VERSION=“7 (Core)”
ID=“sangoma”
ID_LIKE=“centos rhel fedora”
VERSION_ID=“7”
PRETTY_NAME=“Sangoma Linux 7 (Core)”
ANSI_COLOR=“0;31”
CPE_NAME=“cpe:/o:sangoma:sng:7::server:utf8”
HOME_URL=“https://distro.sangoma.net/”
BUG_REPORT_URL=“https://issues.sangoma.net/”
CENTOS_MANTISBT_PROJECT=“Sangoma-7”
CENTOS_MANTISBT_PROJECT_VERSION=“7”
REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT=“sangoma”
REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT_VERSION=“7”
From these output we can not understand if we now have the appropriate version CentOS (7.8-8.3).
Can you please clear this question for me?
And is it reasonable to install such software onto FreePBX server?
Can it potentially disturb server working process?
